Kikadini Villas

Kikadini Villas is a small boutique hotel, consisting of
3 beachfront villas / 7 private suites). Kikadini Villas is located directly on the beach in the quaint little fishing town of Jambiani, on Zanzibar's east coast.

The villas are all designed with a focus on Arabic architecture and atmosphere. A lot of attention has gone into designing and furnishing the villas to create this magic ‘Arabian Nights’ feel – arches, lamps, rugs, furniture and paintings.

Villa Maroc

Villa Maroc is the most secluded of the villas, and is perfect for honeymooners or a romantic getaway! The villa has a master bedroom on the second floor, with large double doors opening up to a private 30 sqm terrace with an open-air bathtub and magical views of the ocean.

The villa also has an en-suite double bedroom on the ground floor, as well as a spacious living room and outside terraces.
Total space is 170 sqm.

Villa Pwani

Villa Pwani is perfect for either one or two couples. The villa has two beachfront double rooms, with private beachfront terraces. Both rooms have double beds, and a single bed can also be added to each of the rooms if required. The villa has a spacious patio and living room with dining table and sofas.

The whole second floor is a rooftop terrace, with an open-air bathtub and lounge space overlooking the ocean.
Total space is 450 sqm.

Villa Palm

Villa Palm is perfect for a group of two or three couples. The villa has three double rooms, two of which are facing the sea and the third facing the garden but with a beach view. One of the rooms is a suite of 80 sqm, with a 25 sqm private terrace and its own open-air bathtub, shadow sofa and sun chairs.

In addition the villa has a fantastic patio and living room, and a truly amazing rooftop terrace – with stunning views of the ocean (perfect for sundowners!)
Total space is 850 sqm.

Private Suites

The en-suite bedrooms in Villas Palm and Pwani can also be rented as individual suites.

All suites have beautiful en-suite bathrooms, private beachfront terraces and elegant furnishings. An extra single bed can be added to make a triple room if required.

All suites are different, both in terms of size and design. Common for all the suites is that they are spacious (35 - 85 sqm), and they are designed with an ‘Arabian Nights’ atmosphere in mind.

Apart from the 3 villas, there is a reception area, shisha lounge and swimming pool in Kikadini's main building - Villa Jewel.

Guests have full access to the amenities of the villa - the patio, rooftop terraces and swimming pool.

Breakfasts (and any other meals required) are served in the restaurant, which is a stone's throw away from the villas.

Bottled mineral water is provided in rooms and replaced daily.

Beach towels and bath towels are provided in all rooms.

Dining

Kikadini Villas offers some of the finest food on the island, and the candlelit atmosphere at dinner time is one of the highlights for their guests.

The restaurant is situated in the main building, overlooking the swimming pool and ocean.

Bookings at Kikadini Villas are on a Half Board basis - which includes breakfast, afternoon tea and a four-course dinner menu. Lunch is available à la carte.

Special dinner menus include: “Zanzibar Delights”, “One night in Bangkok” and “Seafood Barbecue on the Beach”.

Meals are normally served in the restaurant or al fresco, but there is also an option to dine in your villa.

Kikadini's drinks menu features a wide selection of fruit juices, beers, spirits, exotic cocktails and carefully chosen wines from all over the world.

Facilities and Activities

Activities at Kikadini Villas usually centre on strolling along the (amazingly beautiful) beach, exploring the village and… just chilling out. And if you need help to unwind, you can enjoy a professional aromatherapy massage!

Kikadini Villas has its own dhow - a traditional sailing boat – and they are happy to take you snorkeling or fishing, just the way local fishermen do.

Kikadini also offers a broad selection of excursions from the hotel: Jozani Forest, dolphin trips in Kizimkazi, spice tours, Stone Town tours, to name a few.

Scuba-diving and kite surfing can also easily be arranged.

Guests who bring their own laptops are welcome to log onto the free wireless connection provided.

Child Policy

There is a minimum age policy of 12 years when renting a whole villa, and 14 years when staying in a shared villa.
