In order to confirm your reservation, we require a 30% non-refundable deposit payment at the time of making your booking. Failure to pay this deposit timeously will result in your reservation being released.
The balance of payment is due 8 weeks prior to the date of your arrival. Failure to pay the balance timeously may result in your reservation being released. (If your booking is made less than 8 weeks before your arrival full payment will be required.)
EFT: Simply make a payment in your own local currency into a local bank account in your own country, and save on all international bank fees. Pay now
credit / debit cards: Pay with your credit / debit card via Exchange4Free, our secure online payment gateway. NB: All card payments are subject to an additional 2.5% bank fee. (Except US$ cards, which carry a 3.5% fee.)
bank transfer: In the case of a direct bank transfer, it is your responsibility to inform and instruct your bankers that the net invoice amount must equal the funds clearing into our bank account, and that ALL bank charges are for your account.
paypal: Pay via PayPal. (NB: All payments made via PayPal are subject to an additional 3.9% fee.)
bitcoin: We accept payments in Bitcoin. (The current USD exchange rate will be used on the date of payment. No fees.)
In the unfortunate event of you having to cancel your booking, we will, wherever possible, try to refund your payment.
PLEASE NOTE: If you cancel less than 8 weeks prior to your arrival date, you may lose a percentage of your payment. This will be determined according to the cancellation policy of each individual establishment. (Please ask us about your hotel / villa’s cancellation policy, if you’re unsure.)
We advise you to take out travel insurance that will cover you in the unlikely event of you having to cancel your holiday.
All clients are advised to take out comprehensive medical and travel insurance covering them for personal effects, personal accident, medical and emergency travel expenses.
You are also advised to take out travel insurance which covers you in the unlikely event of you having to cancel your holiday.
Zanzibar Retreats acts in the capacity of tour operator for clients in making their tour arrangements. All bookings, cancellations, coupons, receipts and tickets issued by Zanzibar Retreats are subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the suppliers.
Zanzibar Retreats shall be exempt from any liability for loss, damage to property, accidents, delays, irregularities or other occurrence beyond its control.
Should there be any change of arrival/departure time and the entry/exit transportation used by the tour, Zanzibar Retreats shall not be held responsible for any loss caused thereby.
