Zanzibar Retreats is operated by Africade Travel - a dynamic travel company that was founded in 2003 by Claudia Batschari and Richard Boome. Africade is based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Booking
In order to confirm your reservation, we require a 20% non-refundable deposit payment at the time of making your booking. Failure to pay this deposit will result in your reservation automatically being cancelled.
The balance of payment is due 6 weeks prior to the commencement date of your itinerary. Bookings made within 6 weeks prior to departure are subject to full prepayment at the time of confirming the reservation.
Clients are welcome to settle payment by means of a bank transfer or credit card (which is subject to 5% bank charges).
In the case of a bank transfer the amount will be converted by your bankers on presentation of our invoice. It is the client’s responsibility to inform and instruct their bankers that the net invoice amount must equal the funds clearing into our bank account and that all bank charges are for the client’s account.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation 4 - 6 weeks prior to departure: 40% of Tour Cost
- Cancellation 2 - 4 weeks prior to departure: 60% of Tour Cost
- Cancellation 0 - 2 weeks prior to departure: 100% of Tour Cost
Insurance
All clients are advised to take out comprehensive medical and travel insurance covering them for personal effects, personal accident, medical and emergency travel expenses.
We would also strongly advise clients to take out travel insurance which covers the possibility of cancellation.
General
We reserve the right to adjust the tour prices at any time should there be any cost increases of any portion of the tour that is beyond our control.
Africade Travel acts in the capacity of tour operator for clients in making their tour arrangements. All bookings, coupons, receipts and tickets issued by Africade Travel are subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the suppliers.
Africade Travel shall be exempt from any liability for loss, damage to property, accidents, delays, irregularities or other occurrence beyond its control.
Should there be any change of arrival/departure time and the entry/exit transportation used by the tour, Africade Travel shall not be held responsible for any loss caused thereby.
