Pemba Island lies about 80km to the North East of Zanzibar Island, and about the same distance from the Tanzanian mainland. It is just 67km long and boasts long, empty beaches and great diving and snorkelling possibilities. The largest town on Pemba is Chake Chake - the island's capital and administrative centre.
Pemba attracts relatively few tourists, but those that do venture to this lush island are rewarded with magnificent, unspoilt natural beauty.
Fundu Lagoon is the epitome of a "shabby chic paradise" with a distinct Robinson Crusoe air. The lodge is set in a remote and peaceful location
on the south western side of Pemba Island, and is only accessible by boat.
A place to relax and unwind in casual, yet stylish surroundings.
